Enrichment Opportunities

  • Our gifted and talented specialist oversees the following forms of gifted services at HPE.

        -Direct instruction of high performing students in their classrooms.
        -Coaching and material support for classroom teachers.
        -Leader of our Challenge Group for parents and teachers
        -Enrichment coordinator

    DIRECT INSTRUCTION
    The vast majority of time is spent working with flexible groups in our classrooms.  The groups are determined by student need for additional challenge in specific curricular areas.  

    COACHING AND MATERIAL SUPPORT
    Professional support is provided to all teachers at HPE as regards high ability students.
