Welcome to Kindergarten at Groveland!
Kindergarten
is an important threshold in a child's life, a year when children learn
to LOVE SCHOOL, and we are honored to work children and families in
this stage of life!
Our curriculum emphasizes early literacy and
math experiences,  | | Writers Workshop |
and integrates science, social studies, art, music,
physical education and Spanish into the curriculum. We also work with
children on developing the social skills such as empathy and
cooperation that help create a community of learners.
Ms. Raub
and Ms. Sundberg (formerly Ms. Sweeney) teach full-day kindergarten,
and Ms. vanNatta has moved from half-day  | | Ms. Raub, Mrs. Sundberg & Mrs. van Natta |
to all day kindergarten this year as well. We are
proud to offer one of the few half-day programs remaining in the
district!
