 Some Poems - We Wrote!
Scissors
by Katherine, Eliza, and Lana

Its mouth
Snaps shut,
Like a
Tiger’s mouth.
It cuts
Like a
Lawnmower.
It’s a
Bully to
Anything
It can cut.
It’s a woodpecker
With a silver beak.
It’s a tiger
With one
Big eye,
And one
Small eye.
Its an
Island
Made of
Sand and
Water surrounds it.

The Table
by Sammi, Will, and Jesse

Sometimes write on it,
Maybe drink on it,
And sometimes
Eat on it.
Sometimes open and close,
Behold my friend,
The table
Who never moves its legs.

Spiral Notebook
by Aidan, Quinn, and Mai Chou

Silver scales
Lock on tight
To a colorful body.
Pages fly through the air
As I turn,
And flip,
Looking for somewhere to express my ideas.
A monster with a sharp point,
Comes down,
And scratches the paper.

Hole Punch
by Wyatt, Matt, and Bella

It pinches,
It punches,
It pops.
An eye pops more eyes
One tooth
Hangs out.
A hole,
Another hole,
Dead end.

A Book
by Jillian, Katherine V., and Mette

Opens like a mouth,
Teeth that cut.
Light as a feather,
Heavy as a whale.
Takes you through a different land. A fan of fantasy,
A teacher in your pocket

Puffer Ball
By Ellen, Oliver, and Emrik

It’s as prickly as a porcupine.
It has 206 legs.
Its as sticky as honey.
Its shaped,
As a rock.
Its as bright as the sun.
Its as jiggly as jelly.
It spins like a top!
