Voulnteer Opportunities Room Parents: Liaisons between teacher and parent. Help or find help for teacher for special classroom activities. Reading/Math Tutors: Weekly one-on-one meetings with students who need extra help. Art Masterpieces: Teach students using the Walker Arts and Minneapolis Institute of Arts curriculum in the classroom. This prepares them for their gallery tours. Special Small Group Student Projects: Facilitate small group learning groups: A literature group, a Junior Great Books group, research reports, drama or technology projects. Writer's Workshop: Assist students as they write on self-selected topics in the writer's workshop. Other Classroom Help: Share a skill or you name it! Field Trips: Chaperone on a field trip or on multiple field trips.
