About Groveland Park Elementary

Groveland’s mission is to create a supporting community that honors, inspires and challenges every child, every day.

Groveland is a lovely neighborhood school with committed, creative teachers, a wonderful parent community and, of course, fabulous students. We work hard to create a supportive environment to foster academic and social-emotional growth of all learners. 

Partnerships with local universities and community organizations, such as the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra CONNECT Program, enable us to offer many rich educational experiences.

Our PTO help raise funds each year for fine arts enrichment residencies. A highlight for many students is the fifth grade trip to Widgiwagan, an environmental camp near Ely, Minnesota.

Childcare before and after school is offered through Discovery Club and the S’more Fun program. 

Past and present, Groveland’s unique ability to challenge and support all learners is founded on the positive relationships built within our diverse learning community.
